And if one day someone could predict the future?

If anyone could predict the future, would certainly have one of the most powerful weapons in the universe. Not that the prediction itself was a weapon, but what could be done with the knowledge of the future, would have unpredictable consequences for mankind.

Who does not remember Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) at the wheel of legendary DeLorean, a time machine built by Doctor Emmett Brown in the movie Back to the Future (Back to the Future)?

First with a journey to the past, where he meets his parents after a trip to the future to address some situations that would lead to the disappearance of the surname McFly, and Marty buys a sports almanac in order to place bets on the results contained in that almanac , when he returned to the year 1985. We were in 1985!

Any one of the sequelae of these trips turned out to be disastrous, because when Marty returned to the past, almost committed to its existence, and to visit the future, was forced to make numerous trips to get remedy the situation caused by travel time .

In this case, Google allows us these "trips", but without the complications of the film.

There are times we went to buy a compact digital camera. The only thing that was certain was the brand, Panasonic .

Not that I am someone "hooked" by brand, but a friend had bought one for a price which was around € 100 and the quality of the photos were beautiful. Even taking pictures in dark environments the results were always excellent. Moreover, there are always some Leica lenses and instead, will make all the difference.

It took some time for my choice and I chose the Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ6 . Still oscillate between TZ6 and TZ7 , but my friend Browserd , eventually me clarify all doubts, eventually opting for cheaper :) .

I am not saying that cheated the Reflex. Always been a fan of the SLR, and still have my old Canon EOS388 the service. These machines have a capacity to adjust to each moment that is hard to find in a compact machine. Whether through the lens shift, or adjust the speed, aperture, there is always room for adjustment, however, require a larger budget .. continue reading ..

Sponsored by Work Value , together with the Spanish consultancy Alt64 held today Practitioner Web Analytics 2009, the first time in Portugal - Lisbon.

The seminar was opened by Andre Zeferino 's Work Value explained that the objectives of the seminar and spoke of Web Analytics in Portugal.

Then we Avinash Kaushik , who spoke from a perspective of Web Analytics 2.o. In his presentation highlighted some of the tools available, and drew attention to the most important aspects to consider in the analysis that the tools available.

Avinash Kaushik is the author of Web Analytics: One hour a day and the famous blog Occam's Razor . I liked much of his presentation, because in a simple and effective web analytics demystified.

Next came the presentation of Andres Flores , Web Analytics consultant, who discussed the issue from the standpoint of the key issues to be taken into account when we talk about web analytics.

In the afternoon, we had the Charles Paul , of Google Portugal, who showed us different perspectives to be considered in policy formation, and creating web campaigns, especially from the standpoint of research trends on the Internet.

We returned to have Avinash Kaushik's "Actionable Web Analytics", which highlighted the "quick wins" that we are aware of a Tuscan order to improve and optimize our results.

The seminar ended with Andres Flores, who raised the issue of KPIs and Business Objectives. Andrés Flores underlined the importance of objective definition of these issues, without which, we hardly successful strategy WEB Analytics.

From my point of view, this seminar went very well, the speakers were appropriate and they gave us a perspective and scale of the potential and importance of Web Analytics.
